Meet Jonathan!
Jonathan Rubin, a lifelong Palm Beach County resident and Executive Director of the Clean Earth Initiative, has announced his candidacy for Florida House District 87. A proven nonprofit leader and small business owner, Rubin is running to fight for families, strengthen local communities, and protect Florida’s quality of life.
A fourth-generation Floridian raising the fifth, Rubin has worked with lawmakers and community leaders to advance common-sense policies that support law enforcement, public safety, improve infrastructure, strengthen education, protect Florida’s beaches, and lower long-term insurance costs. He also founded Fresh Florida Farms, where he gained firsthand experience with agriculture, small business challenges, and the rising cost of food facing families across the district.
Motivated by his wife, Michal, and their newborn son, Charlie, Rubin says families in Palm Beach County are being squeezed by rising gas and food costs, government overreach, and growing public health and infrastructure challenges. He believes voters want strong, accountable leadership that puts families, small businesses, and law enforcement first — and he is committed to delivering real results for District 87.
